Last week we met with the Research and Development team at Hormel. We were able to meet with various employees to learn about the work done in this department at Hormel. Just a few things they learned about include:
- Working to create new products, making and sending them to marketing for further development
- Evaluating food safety and how to make sure the product is safe for the consumer
- Studying packaging in order to keep the product safe and efficient
- Applying research to products in order to create efficiency
The students also experienced the pizza cutting where pepperoni is evaluated and they heard about all of the evaluation behind a specific product. Another great morning at CEO! Thank you Hormel for your continued support of our students!
